On-topic: Heavy Rain,RE5 and MAG have all been released.
The memories are what people really cherish and not the game themselves. An objective person that never played those games when they were released wouldn't see the appeal now.
For example, when I was a child, I enjoyed Wrestling, Power Rangers, and even Disney Channel. Now, I can't even stand any of them but my memories of them are still great.

You guys should look at enlarged pictures. The difference is pretty clear. First, there is less aliasing in the GT5 pics due to higher resolution. The models in GT5 definitely have higher poly. The lighting is more realistic in GT5 as well. You can actually see the interior of the cars through the rear windows in GT5.
Notice the fact that in these pics, there 12 cars on GT5 and 8 in Forza.
